Privacy Policy

This policy explains what NEMT Central collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain English on purpose.

What we collect
When you create an account
- Your email address
- A password, or your Google account if you sign in that way. We never see your Google password.
- Your name, if you give it
When you answer the setup questions
- The state you plan to operate in
- Your approximate starting budget, as a range
- Whether you have a vehicle, and what kind
- Whether you plan to drive yourself or hire drivers
- Your relevant background
As you use the app
- Everything you type in the stage conversations, and everything the guide replies
- The to-do lists generated for you, which items you tick off, and when
- Basic usage events: when you signed up, when you completed setup, which stages you opened, when a plan was generated, and when tasks were completed
What we do not collect
- Payment details. NEMT Central is free and takes no payments, so there is nothing to store.
- Health information about you or anyone else.
- Your Social Security number, driver's licence number, or any government identifier.
- Your precise location. We know the state you told us and nothing more.
Why we collect it
To make the guidance specific to you. Your state, budget and vehicle situation change what the app tells you and in what order. Without them it would be a generic checklist, which is the thing this app exists to replace.
We also look at overall usage — how many people reach each stage, where people stop — to work out what to improve.
Who else sees your information
NEMT Central runs on services provided by other companies. They process your information on our behalf, under their own agreements with us:

Your information is not used to train anyone's AI models. Lovable's documentation states that data submitted by the end users of an application stays in that application's own database and is not used for model training. We do not permit it and we do not do it ourselves.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not give it to data brokers.
We may disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect someone from harm.
Who at NEMT Central can see your conversations
George P. Samuels can. Administrator access to the application includes the ability to read accounts and conversations. This is used to understand where people are getting stuck and to improve the guidance.
Other users cannot see anything of yours. The database enforces this at the record level, not just in the interface.
Using the app does not make you a client
NEMT Central is guidance, not professional advice, and using it does not create a CPA engagement or any other professional relationship. A professional engagement begins only when it is agreed in writing through an engagement letter, and the confidentiality obligations that attach to such an engagement apply from that point.
What you type into the app is treated with care under this policy, but it is not privileged or subject to professional confidentiality.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account exists.
When you delete your account, your profile, your conversations, your to-do lists and your usage history are removed immediately. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
Anonymous counts that cannot be traced back to you — such as how many people reached a given stage — may be kept indefinitely.
Your choices
See what we hold. Email admin@nemtcentral.ai and we will send you a copy.
Correct it. Some of it you can change in the app by telling the guide. For anything else, email us.
Delete everything. You can delete your account from the Account page in the app. This permanently removes your profile, your conversations, your to-do lists and your usage history. You can also email admin@nemtcentral.ai and ask us to do it. Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover it afterwards.
Stop using it. You can simply stop. Nothing is charged and nothing continues.
We respond to emailed requests within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. Ask us and we will honour them.
Security
Your information is held in a database where access is restricted at the record level, so one user's data is not reachable by another. Connections are encrypted. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you.
Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie, and it keeps you signed in. The app cannot work without it.
We also store a single flag in your browser to remember that you dismissed the notice about opening the site outside the Facebook app.
That is everything. We use no advertising cookies, no analytics scripts and no third-party tracking. The site carries one Google Search Console verification tag, which confirms to Google that we own the domain — it sets no cookie and collects nothing about you.
Children
NEMT Central is for adults starting a business. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from under-18s. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
